Risen

He is risen.

Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 15:20-22, “But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died. So you see, just as death came into the world through a man, now the resurrection from the dead has begun through another man. Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life.”

Jesus told us in John 14:19, “Because I live, you will live also.”

He is risen indeed.

As the hymn says, “Oh what sweet joy this sentence gives, I know that my Redeemer lives.”

Dear Lord, Your sacrifice was the price for our sin, and your resurrection is our victory over death. Oh what joy this brings!. Amen.

  1. Nature declares the glory of God. The wind blows and God breaths on His creation.
“The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad. Let the distance shores rejoice. Clouds and thick darkness surround Him; Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. Fire goes before Him and consumes His foes on every side. His lightening lights the world. The earth sees and trembles. The mountains melt like wax before the Lord. Before the Lord of all the earth the heavens declare His righteous and all people will see His glory.” Psalm 97:1-7
All praise and glory to our risen King. Bless Your Holy name Lord.
