I have had conversations with Christians who believe the doctrine, and strive to live faithfully, but when discussing God’s involvement and concern for the day to day events of their lives, they don’t believe He is involved.
I have a different view.
Psalm 37:23 says “The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.”
The NIV Bible describes “the godly” as “The one who delights in Him”
So I believe the Bible is clearly telling us that if we put God and His will as our highest priority and responsibility, He will be with us helping us deal with all the details of our lives.
Dear Lord, What joy it is to know that you care about all the details of our lives. We can come to you with all our challenges, and opportunities, and you will directs in how we should go. Thank you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

This scripture is Psalm 37:23 …. not Proverbs, just thought I would call your attention to the misprint…

There is no proverbs 37
I enjoy reading your devotional although, on a couple of occasions the Bible verses have been incorrect. The verse you are referring to in today’s reading is
Psalm 37:23 and not Proverbs 37:23 as there is no 37th chapter in Proverbs.

This should be Psalms 37. Proverbs does not have 37 verses.
