Some people think there is a debate between the ideas of science and religion, and they say we must accept either Science or Religion.

However, there are many things in the universe that Science and scientists cannot explain. If someone puts his or her confidence in science alone, they are choosing to ignore what is unknown, or believe in an un-supportable hypothesis or theory. How different is that from a Religion?

Christians can believe there is no conflict between Science and Christianity. The things we consider to be scientific facts and principles were created by God. Any true discovery is not in conflict with our belief; it only shows us more about God’s creation.

John writes in Revelations 1:1-2, “This is a revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants the events that must soon take place. He sent an angel to present this revelation to his servant John, who faithfully reported everything he saw.”

And verse in verse 4 he says, “Grace and peace to you from the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come”

And verse 8, “I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end, says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.”

Dear Lord, You are truly awesome. We marvel at the discoveries and mysteries of your creation. Help us take this wonderful science as evidence of your majesty and put our faith, hope and trust in You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
